Communication Skills for Testers & why you have been doing it wrong all along

Joel Montvelisky
PractiTest - Israel

Presentation abstract

As professional testers we are exclusively focused on the testing activities we perform.  We can be experts at planning, running and reporting tests, but most of us are lacking on the abilities to correctly communicate the results of our testing and so we are not able to achieve the results we want in our organizations.

This session analyses the main factors affecting the communication process of testers in general.  It then reviews a new model that catalogues the different types and levels of communication most testing teams use.  And it finally analyses a number of concrete methods and approaches to improve the communication of testers within their organizations
