Gone are the days when using a generic tool for automation could solve automation needs. Today, the products have become very complex, so have the use cases. Different users of a product use it at different levels (could be at UI level or scripting level or even at more complex level). Also, as the complexity of the product increases, the need for automation increases even further…. Software today are used on multiple platforms, multiple browsers, different versions of a product are there (pro/standard/suite version )and so on and so forth. Basically the biggest challenge is to deliver a highest quality product within the deadline and to do so one has to be damn smart.
Brute force isn’t possible.
So how does one deal with present day challenges to cater to automation of products?
