Derk-Jan de Grood and Paul C. Jorgesen opened the Conference with two tutorials; four hour sessions that combines theory and practice.

The opening was at 14:00, and was chaired by Jesús de la Maza, President of Innovalia Group, and Cristina Oyón, Director of Technological Innovation of the SPRI, as a special guest. After the opening event, Roger Derksen gave the first dynamic keynote of the Conference, about his experience as a testing responsible of the system baggage of Terminal 5 of Heathrow Airport.
After the tracks of the afternoon, the first presentation of the Tool Lab will take place, handed by José Luis Fernández, about PPOOA architecture. The tool Lab will be followed by the Conference cocktail.
