Large Scale Agile and Quality Teams: Bridging between communities, how do we collaborate and drive towards Quality?
Large scale Agile introduces unique challenges when different Agile teams like software development teams, Validation teams, management office and support teams must synchronize their activities and collaborate with Quality teams when there is a need to interface with each other. To solve this, we coined a common quality framework, a common yardstick and quality goals as to evaluate and mandate the release schedule to be synchronized based on the dependencies.
With this small experiment of having a common quality language across organization, we could see increase in team collaboration/transparency, help ask right questions during milestone and ship release approvals. In this paper, we present a systematic review on how adopting the Common Quality framework in large scale agile environment has helped us to bridge the quality gaps across different organizational units and measuring the success rate.
